Werner Herzog

Premiers Plans is dedicating a retrospective to Werner Herzog, a visionary filmmaker whose work, spanning fiction and documentary, explores humanity’s obsessions in the face of the forces of the world.

Focus on Karin Viard

Karin Viard, a key actress in French cinema, has made her mark on the big screen with her raw talent and authenticity, winning a first César for Haut les cœurs ! (1999). She is versatile and demanding, and has worked with some of the greatest directors (Ozon, Maïwenn, Klapisch). At Premiers Plans, she will present Haut les cœurs ! (1999), Une nuit (2023) and La Maison des femmes (2026), and will share her passion for acting during an exceptional meeting with the audience.

Focus on Laetitia Dosch

Laetitia Dosch, a French-Swiss actress, film director and stage director, has established herself as a major figure in contemporary cinema. Discovered by Justine Triet in La Bataille de Solférino (2012) and confirming her talent in Jeune femme (2017), she moved behind the camera in 2024 with Le Procès du chien. At Premiers Plans, she will present a preview of La Maison des femmes (2026), alongside Karin Viard.
