Eco-responsability in Premiers Plans

© Élise Rochard

The teams are working hard to make the event more environmentally friendly: encouraging soft mobility, waste management and accessibility have been the key points of our eco-responsible approach.

In concrete terms, for this first edition, Premiers Plans has put in place the following measures:

Surroundings of reception sites

Installation of devices to collect cigarette butts: 9 ashtrays installed at the entrances to the venues hosting the Festival

Energy conservation

  • Our partners Hexa Repro and Evolis are committed to environmentally responsible practices (eco-designed printers and recycling of badges at the end of the event).

  • No goodies were distributed to the public in order to minimise the production of short-lived objects.

More virtuous travel

  • Car-sharing encouraged via three platforms: BlaBlaCar, TogetZer and Ouest Go

  • Distribution of a map of cycle paths and cycle parking facilities in Angers

  • Distribution of public transport timetables and routes to the event venue

  • Specific signposting from Angers Saint-Laud station to the Convention Centre

Sustainable eating

  • Recovery and reuse of bio-waste

Towards zero waste

An event for everyone

  • The Festival is making its offer more accessible to all (in french)

  • Introduction of means-tested pricing

  • Setting up a wide range of cultural activities (in french) to encourage students, young people, families, senior citizens and people from culturally excluded and financially disadvantaged backgrounds to attend the event
