Rose, from Côte d'Ivoire, arrives in France and settles in the outskirts of Paris with her two sons, Jean and Ernest.
Léonor Serraille
After studying literature in Lyon, Paris and Barcelone, Léonor Serraille joined the Scriptwriting course at La Fémis in 2009. Following this she made a 16 mm medium- length film, Body, with Nathalie Richard, which was selected for Brive, Créteil, and Osnabrück. Jeune femme, her graduation script and first feature, with Laetitia Dosch in the title role, won the Caméra d'Or at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. Un petit frère (Mother and Son), her second feature, was presented in competition at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
