Event organized in partnership with La Plateforme and the collective Les Mardis des Réalisatrices
Despite ten years of incentive policies and public commitments, gender parity remains largely insufficient in film and television, particularly in the production of series and big-budget projects. Works directed by women remain in the minority, even when they are selected or awarded prizes, revealing structural inequalities in access to resources and power. This round table discussion aims to go beyond the statistics by examining the concrete levers—funding, selection, training, and broadcaster responsibility—that can bring about lasting change in the audiovisual ecosystem.
With Ophélie Koering, director and actress.
Moderated by Ingrid Franchi, board member of La Plateforme and active member of the Les Mardis des Réalisatrices collective.
Free admission
