Memory of Images - Revisiting Agnès Varda's editing

As part of the Premiers Plans Festival, Rosalie Varda and Ciné Tamaris are presenting this project, which consists of making the entire 54 hours of rushes from the documentary Les Glaneurs et la Glaneuse available to students around the world, along with the film itself, so that they can study Agnès Varda's editing technique and use this raw material to create their own edit of one or more sequences, or even a new version of the film. Launched in 2023, it is the result of a partnership with INA, which developed and hosts this bilingual platform where users can view and download all the rushes, the edited film, the film's soundtrack, documents related to the film, an educational kit including complete transcripts, photographs, and press kits from the time, and all the films and work from other schools.
