At the age of 50, the brilliant Italian filmmaker (Il divo, La grande bellezza, Youth, the series The Young Pope), known and celebrated for his baroque, powerfully visual style, returns to film in Naples for the first time since his debuts, in the neighbourhood where he grew up. A coming of age film, fraught with emotion and questions, set among loving parents and a whimsical, exuberant, delirious and colourful extended family. (Jean-Claude Raspiengas; La Croix)
