Burak and Münire were born in 1984. They started making short films after having met in Bogaziçi University,Istanbul while studying in two totally unrelated departments; management and English teaching. Later they did their master's in Sabanci University in departments of Cultural Studies (Münire) and Visual Arts and Communication Design (Burak) where they had also made this film Taysan! Taysan!. Currently, Burak is getting his MFA degree in Animation in USC School of Cinematic Arts, Los Angeles, USA since 2009 and Münire is studying to get her PhD in English Literature in Bogaziçi University where she is also teaching English.
