17-year-old Léa is spending the summer stuck in her tiny village. She would love nothing more than to talk to her mother, but it’s not possible. One day, the old telephone box at the entrance to the village starts ringing. Léa picks up the phone. On the other end of the line, a woman asks for help. She too needs to talk to someone, at all costs.
Production : Qui vive !

Émilie Dubois discovered cinema thanks to the old westerns she used to watch with her father as a child, then the horror films she secretly watched as a teenager. A graduate of Louis Lumière, she firstly pursued a career as a producer for nearly fifteen years and since 2021 has been working at Insolence Productions. As a scriptwriter, she has co-written a number of feature projects, mainly genre films (fantasy, horror, thriller). A 2022 graduate of the Fémis Screenwriting Workshop, she met director Romain Daudet-Jahan there, with whom she co-wrote three science fiction projects: Kyma, Le Basculement, and An Mil. She is developing her first short film as a writer-director, Parler au vent, with Lucie Vigier for Qui Vive!, supported by the Grand Est Region.
