Created in 1946 just after the Second World War, the character is of Mr Prokouk is the gentle caricature of an ordinary citizen. While still firmly in the burlesque tradition, the adventures of the little man with a big nose show the concerns of the time. The hero of this nine-episode series made his creator famous with young audiences.
