Employed by a solicitor’s office in Wismar, Jonathan Harker is sent to Transylvania to finalise the sale of a property to Count Dracula. Saddened to be leaving his young wife Lucy, he rides to the buyer’s castle. On the way, villagers and Roma warn him of the danger that awaits him if he ventures into these cursed lands. For Count Dracula is a vampire, incapable of dying, who feasts on the blood of the living. Jonathan becomes his prisoner. Moved by a photograph of Lucy, Dracula sets out to join her in Virna.
