"With Les Apprentis Pierre Salvador joined the (dying) family of authors who believe in the purifying power of laughter, without rejecting the demands of style and aspirations towards a happier world. With him as well a great actor was born, because he was well observed: Guillaume Depardieu" (Laurent Roth). Working from their own particular fears, Pierre Salvadori, along with his co-writer Philippe Harel, give a minute and discreet observation of the day to day lives of two friends going through a bad patch. Between the lightness of the situation and the complexity of the feelings, the comedy elegantly shows the fear of growing old and of entering the adult world.
