Léandre, 20, works at a center for people with disabilities and dreams of becoming a father. But when his girlfriend Juliette refuses to have a child, their love falters, and a summer of doubt forces him to confront what it truly means to be ready for parenthood.

Lucas Minier, born in 1997, grew up in Alençon, Normandy, France. He began his professional career as a camera assistant before joining La Fémis in 2021 in the Cinematography Department, where he deepened his interest in the intersections between documentary and fiction. Since then, he has worked as a director of photography on short films. Léandre l'été (2025), shot in Normandy as an independent production, is his first film. His second film, Le Couteau et La Plaie, was completed in 2025.
