A group of French high school students goes on a school trip to Naples to explore the ruins of Pompeii and the bodies petrified by Mount Vesuvius. It is there that they are suddenly overcome by a sense of vertigo. One by one, they let themselves be swept away by desire and anger until they surrender to them completely.

Marine Atlan has visited Angers on several occasions. In 2016, her student film, Les Amours vertes, received a Special Mention from the jury. She returned in 2019 for Daniel fait face, which was also presented in competition. This year, she served as a guest speaker at the Ateliers d’Angers. La Gradiva, her first feature film, won the Grand Prize at Critics’ Week this year in Cannes.
