Born in Montpellier, Emma Benestan studied anthropology and cinema in France. In parallel, she edits films and runs video workshops for young teenagers. This film, Goût bacon, comes from this workshop. She was selected in Premiers Plans in the School film competition in 2013 with Toucher l'horizon, then in the French Short Film competition with Belle gueule in 2015. She was also selected for Angers Workshop in 2015 with her long feature project Petite sauvage which will be read during this edition of the festival.
