In 2017, Nixon Singa made À chacun sa peine, his first self-produced short film. The story focuses on three characters from different social classes who are brought together by a tragic event. In 2021, he graduated from La Résidence de La Fémis with his short film Espoir, in which he addresses depression among young athletes. Gioia, produced by Caïmans Productions, explores complex themes such as cultural appropriation and self-empowerment in the world of Afro dance.
