Hubert Charuel

Daniel and Cajou, his three-legged fox terrier, meet up with Hervé for a hunt. Cajou only has three legs because of Francis, Gilles' son. Having forgotten his cartridge belt, Daniel calls his wife to ask her to bring it to him.

Born in 1985, Hubert Charuel grew up in a dairy farming environment. He decided to take another path. He graduated from La femis in production in 2011. His graduation film, Diagonale du vide (2011), was screened in several festivals. In 2014, he made K-Nada. The film was selected at the Premiers Plans Festival in 2015 where it won the Prix CCAS for best French film. In 2016, along with directing Fox terrier, he shot his first feature, Bloody Milk, produced by Domino Films. This project was selected at the 2015 Ateliers d'Angers 2015 and read in 2016 at the Festival, where it won the audience awards for readings of a feature film.
