Diamant is a 15-year-old girl from Dakar who dreams of making films, but her family has other plans for her. On the morning of an appointment she really doesn’t want to go to, she doesn’t wake up. Faced with the urgency of the situation, those around her do everything they can to try to wake her up.

Kevin Aubert is a French-Cameroonian director. In 2020, he moved to Dakar, where he ran the Ousmane Sembène Film Complex for over a year, before going on to create Le Sel Dakar, the city’s only film processing lab. For over six years, he has mainly directed music videos and commercials. He has made two music documentaries: one about an independent rapper and the other about the last international tour of the duo HER, before the death of one of its members. His passion for cinema and his desire to create fiction films have always guided him. Ne réveillez pas l'enfant qui dort (2025) is his first short film.
