Vanessa, 21, lives with her brother Diego, 20, who has a disability, and their father Antonio, a gypsy with a strong personality. The happy, well-oiled routine of this trio is about to be turned upside down by Diego's sexual awakening. While Antonio is proud to initiate his son into manhood, Vanessa realizes that her brother prefers men.

In 2023, Melissa Silveira was a resident at La Ruche, supported by Gindou Cinéma. There she wrote Diego, her first short film, which won the Beaumarchais-SACD and Kissfilms writing grants. This story allowed her to explore the areas of tension between cultural heritage, desire, and the quest for emancipation. She is currently writing her first feature film.
