A young man is going out on a date. Hesitant and confused, he takes great care about his appearance and cleans his flat with the hope of not coming home alone. At night, he returns, alone. Sometimes ironic, sometimes melancholic, he thwarts his own "preparations" and makes do with his disappointment and his loneliness.
