Sarah Leonor takes the character of Florence Loiret Caille and Guillaume Depardieu from the urban environment to the natural world. One is a corollary of the past, whereas the other enables this original couple to return to Eden. There, the protagonists are bathed in a different light, freed in the broader frame embracing a benevolent Nature. "The atmosphere on the set was sometimes quite tense, and I was surprised when I saw the dailies to find the peace I was looking for. (...) I asked Guillaume to abandon himself to the light, to the forest, to let himself go. The discussions with him were sometimes like a boxing match, but we already had a pact of mutual trust. Guillaume was full of paradoxes, slow in his speed, diabolical and gentle, chaotic and precise. I wanted all three of us to find a harmony, which was probably most difficult for Guillaume, but he gave us it. Harmony, dissonance... We used a lot of musical terms for the scenes..." (Sarah Leonor).
