Born in 1988, Joachim Michaux is a Franco-Belgian artist. He worked for a video editor accompanying the work of filmmakers such as Frederick Wiseman, Bruno Dumont or Béla Tarr. He then studied at Fresnoy and directed Sur tes cendres (2021), a documentary filmed in Beirut. A sky so low (2025) is his first fiction.
