Lucie is 15 and has a boundless imagination. She lives alone with her father, William, who despite his teenage looks is fighting against MS. Lucie manages as best she can navigating between school, a job and dealing with the everyday, and finds her escape in writing a fantastic autobiographical novel which flows between dream and reality…

Olivier Babinet is self-taught and started directing as a teenager making photo-novellas and video clips for his rock group. He has written and directed several tv series, experimental films and video clips. In 2009, his first short, C'est plutôt genre Johnny Walker, was selected by several festivals, including Premiers Plans, where it won three awards. He co-founded the production company Ferris & Brockman which produced his feature, Robert Mitchum est mort, which won the Grand Prix du Jury in Angers in 2011. Alongside his work as a scriptwriter and director, Olivier Babinet works with middle-school pupils in Aulnay-sous-Bois. This led to the release in 2016 of his feature Swagger. The film was a critical success and garnered awards in festivals following its screening in Cannes in the Acid selection. In 2020, he released Poissonsexe with Gustave Kervern and India Hair. Normale, his fourth feature is due to be released in early 2023.
