Joachim Lafosse was born in Brussels in 1975. He began studying in 1997 at the IAD (Institut of the Broadcasting Arts) in Louvain-la-Neuve where he directed Comédie de comédie in 1998, Après la répétition and Rien sur Robert in 1999, and Egoïste nature in 2000.
