Based on a true story. Dave is a petty criminal who thrives on drugs and violence in London's East End. When his actions kill his best friend Tariq he's propelled into unknown feelings of shame and remorse. He discovers Islam and begins to find peace until his old life of crime comes back to test his new belief.

Andrew Hulme is a very popular editor in UK cinema, and he worked on Control, The American, Slevin, Gangster Number One, The Imposter and Appropriate Adult. His editing of Red Riding 1974 was nominated to the BAFTTA. Otherwise, he composes and produces music and sound effects, and was second unit director. Snow in Paradise is his first long feature.
