Fourteen year-old Nicole lives with her sister and mother in a residential tower in Berlin, and is convinced that something important is going to happen to her. Her wish comes true when she meets Christopher, a member of the local gang. While Nicole's mother works the night shift, the two adolescents play at husband and wife in the empty apartment.
