The RER B commuter line running north to south. A journey through the indistinct places known as the banlieue. A mechanic in La Courneuve, the faithful commemorating the death of Louis XVI at Saint Denis Basilica, a nurse visiting her patients, the memories of people deported to Drancy when they were young, young people basking in the summer calm, a writer at Gif-sur-Yvette, a hunt follower, and the filmmaker herself revisiting her childhood. Each one is a piece in the puzzle that makes a whole. A potential “We”.
