Nelson Algomeda

Guille, a young Venezuelan immigrant, is a barman in Berlin. One evening Memo, his brother, who he hasn't talked to for a long time, bursts into the bar. As the night goes on, Memo tells Guille about his mysterious encounter with their dead mother.
Nelson Algomeda
Nelson Algomeda, was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1989, and graduated in literature, cinema and editing. He has worked as a video editor and documentary producer for independent magazines, political campaigns and cultural institutions in Venezuela and Germany, and for international broadcasters, including BBC Mundo. He has studied directing at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (DFFB) since 2018.

Founded in 1966, the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin offers a three-year programme in directing, photography and production. Since 1997, its students can follow a two-year scriptwriting programme. Each year, the Academy welcomes thirty-four students, often including students from many different countries.
