A film in 3 chapters evoking love in a distant solar system. Through small abstract stories we see the transformations and fusions which take place on a planet, under the influences of gravity and light.
Réka Bucsi was born in Baden-Württemberg in 1988. She studied animation at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, where still lives today. In 2011 to took part in the Essemble programme from the Lisbon Lusófona University, and in 2013 in the Animation Sans Frontières (ASF) international workshop in Viborg, Denmark. Her animated shorts Symphony n° 42, produced in 2013 in Hungary, Love (2016) and Solar Walk (2018) were selected for the Berlinale Shorts section of the Berlin Festival. Love and Solar Walk were also in the official selection at Premiers Plans.
