The film was presented in the official selection of the Cannes Festival 2024 (Un Certain Regard), where it won the Jury Prize for Best Actor, the Fipresci International Critics' Prize, the François Chalais Ensemble Prize and 4 Coups de Coeur at the Art et Essai festival. Boris Lojkine came to Angers in 2012 to read the script for his first feature film, Hope, which was read by Rachida Brakni and won the Audience Award. The film was selected in competition in 2015, where it also received the Audience Award. His second feature, Camille, focuses on the life of Anjou-based photojournalist Camille Lepage.
