"Showing the cause of something bad is less persuasive than showing its consequences. Indeed, what pushed me to make this film was my indignation. We're all like that. We want to change the world but not our habits. Land of Milk and Honey, I know, is a vindictive, caustic film. In it I try to cry out loudly about what bothers me, to make everyone aware that they are consenting victims. But there is a counterpoint to the horror inside each interview, lost amidst the idiotic clichés there is a touching moment. If the spectator can't see them, it's because he no longer has enough inner wealth, generosity, lucidity" (P. Etaix).
