Formerly loved by Frédéric, Véronika wants to see him again. A long-term friend, William, advises her a tactic which is as insidious as it is friendly… It remains to be seen whether each of them really wants to keep all their promises. A sadder than usual Lyon spring will give us the answer.

Totally self-financed and made in the space of 9 days in 1996, L'Amitié is a very rare first film. It was screened in Cannes in 1997 in the Acid section and had a small release in January 1998. Filmmaker Jean-Claude Guiget supported it in these terms: “what a joy to be present at the birth of a deeply original filmmaker who is ploughing his own furrow bravely, without worrying about current tastes, but with the irrepressible conviction and unshakeable certitude that in cinema there is only one solution: being yourself with dogged determination…! (…) L'Amitié is a gem, not a litte gem, but a gem, period”.
