Stéphanie Sergeant was born in 1983 in Villeneuve-St-Georges, France. She is a graduate of the Graphic Arts Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (2009), where she was a student at the professor Jerzy Kucia's Animated Film Studio. Her first film Zywa Linia (2008) received an honorary diploma at the 14th Polish Festival of Original Animated Film (OFAFA) in Krakow. Extrospekcja is her diploma film.
