On a beach in the south of France, after a failed fireworks display, 65-year-old Philippe, a fireworks expert, is devastated. He lashes out at his daughter, Mélodie, 30, who had returned to the family business two years earlier. The father-daughter confrontation leads to a literal and figurative firefight.
