For years now, the kiosk has been Olga‘s little home simply because her sweet tooth and monotonous life has made her bigger than the exit. To distract herself, she reads travel magazines and dreams of being far away. An absurd incident starts the beginning of her journey.
“Newsstands: Sometimes you walk past, buy a publication or two, flip through a few magazines and read certain headlines on the posters. But who are the salespeople who seem to live inside day and night? this story, here is Olga. Her kiosk is her life and she spends all her time there. It must be said that, anyway, she cannot leave it any more. But one day the saleswoman goes. find a way to leave, despite everything, to explore the world!
While offering a positive film that fights against stereotypes of being overweight and against all forms of grossophobia, this short film also offers a very poetic story that makes you want to spy on passers-by and explore the world around us. The spectator is indeed invited to discover different portraits, which seem to suggest admiring the crowd to imagine the lives of each. In the end, Olga is soothed and happy, no longer feels the heavy loneliness, and the spectator will have only one desire: to join her and in turn go on vacation to travel the world! ".
