From 16 to 21 July, at Cinémas Les 400 coups and Hôtel Livois-Lancreau in Angers, moviegoers, cinephiles, film students, and professionals are invited to participate in:

Masterclasses attended by residents and free auditors alike. This year they will be led by Jeanne Moreau and film directors Faouzi Bensaïdi (Mille Mois et WWW: What a Wonderful World…), Claude Miller (Little Lili, Betty Fisher and Other Stories…) and Pascale Ferran (Lady Chatterley, Coming to Terms with the Dead…) as well as composer Béatrice Thiriet (Lady Chatterley, L’Age des possibles…) and editor Yann Dedet (Under Satan’s Sun by Maurice Pialat, Free Zone by Amos Gitaï, 6 François Truffaut films…).

Free-Audit Workshops and Conferences which are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of the creative and technical cinematic processes as well as film analysis. This year Alain Bergala will lecture on point of view (POV) in film, Jean-Marie Barbe and Benoîit Dervaux will discuss creative documentary, detailing specifics in audio sound, editing, etc…
