Zodiac

The elusive serial killer Zodiac started operating at the end of the 1960s and spread terror in the San Francisco region. Shy young cartoonist Robert Graysmith didn't have the experience or the contacts of his brilliant crime correspondent colleague on the San Francisco Chronicle. As an outsider to the case, he didn't have access to all the information that the police had at its disposal. But Zodiac was still the case of his life…
A return to serial killer films for pour David Fincher after the partial failure of Panic Room. Although the Zodiac killer had infused a number of Hollywood films (starting with Don Seigel's Dirty Harry), no film had actually been dedicated solely to him. Fincher, who had worked for a long time on adapting James Ellroy's Black Dahlia, explores the idea of time. Time decaying from 1969 to 1991, years during which the young hero of the film investigates, continuing the police investigation, taking a classic criminal case to the verge of the fantastic.
